Job summary

Madison Metropolitan School District is seeking a dedicated Custodian Lead for the Midvale Elementary Building Services team, working 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Monday–Friday, non-exempt. Starting compensation is $29.79 hourly on the 26-27 salary schedule, with the district offering comprehensive benefits.

The role requires supervising custodians, planning daily work, and ensuring district standards are met. A valid WI driver's license and six months MMSD custodial experience are needed.

Qualifications

• Custodial experience with MMSD (minimum six months).
• Experience training, coaching and evaluating staff on custodian procedures.
• Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prioritize custodial work to meet district standards.
• Perform duties of Custodial Worker I and Building Custodian.
• Enter and process work orders and permits in EAM.
• Supervise and train custodial staff and manage shift coverage.
