Job summary

Contra Costa Community College District is seeking a Lead Custodian to support the Pittsburg campus and provide lead coverage at the Brentwood location. This role coordinates custodial staff, maintains facilities, and ensures safe, clean environments for students and staff.

The position is full-time with Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am shift, 40 hours per week and a 5% shift differential. Salary steps start at 53,700 and rise to 65,424 per year, with automatic increments on July 1 each year until

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of experience performing custodial duties.
• Possession of a high school diploma/ GED or the equivalent.
• Leadership ability to oversee, train, schedule and organize work of others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day work of a group of custodians.
• Respond to requests for emergency custodial needs and setup for events.
• Ensure rooms are prepared for events and restored afterwards.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment and perform cleaning tasks.
• Train and supervise custodial staff as needed.
