Job summary

Mt. Diablo Unified School District seeks a Custodial Leadworker I at Pine Hollow Middle #3808 to supervise and assist custodial staff. This position supports site maintenance, ensures clean, safe facilities for students and staff, and reports to the Custodial & Operations Manager.

Work is 8 hours per day, 260 days per year. Salary falls under Teamster Range 464; requires California driver’s license and related certifications as outlined. Immediate starting date.

Qualifications

• Two years of custodial work experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to lead and coordinate custodial staff and activities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support site custodians to maintain clean, safe facilities.
• Perform routine custodial tasks: sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms and classrooms.
• Operate custodial equipment; inspect facilities and report maintenance needs.
• Assist in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling custodial activities.
• Respond to custodial emergencies and secure facilities as needed.
