Job summary

College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking a Custodial Worker II at the North Las Vegas campus. Under supervision, you will perform general cleaning services in offices, restrooms, classrooms and other facilities, using a variety of cleaning equipment and materials.

You will also provide security, move furniture, and maintain logs as needed. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am, with a starting salary of 41,384.16 USD per year.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of custodial or janitorial experience in a commercial/industrial setting is expected.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning services for State facilities using cleaning equipment and materials.
• Clean and sanitize offices, restrooms, classrooms and other facilities according to schedules and procedures.
• Operate cleaning equipment and follow safety precautions; report equipment needs and security deficiencies.
• Move and arrange furniture for events and maintain logs and inventory as required.
