Job summary

The University of Nevada, Reno is recruiting for a Custodial Worker 1 in the Facilities Maintenance Services Department. This role is part of a team of Custodial Workers responsible for daily, weekly, and project cleaning across assigned buildings.

Typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am. The position is designated Essential Personnel and may require reporting during emergencies; requires high school or equivalent and six months custodial/janitorial experience, plus a

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months custodial or janitorial experience in commercial/industrial/hospital/governmental environments preferred.
• Six months general work experience with custodial exposure required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning restrooms
• Mopping and vacuuming floors

• Stocking and maintaining supplies
