Job summary

Peachford Hospital is seeking a Lead Intake/Assessment Counselor for the Weekday Evenings shift (MTW, 12p–12:30a) in Atlanta. You will assess patients, determine the appropriate level of care, and coordinate admissions or referrals in a busy 24/7 intake department, while providing leadership and staff development.

The role requires at least 1 year of intake/assessment experience in crisis settings, a master’s degree in counseling or a related field, and license-eligibility, with 2–5 years of

Master's degree in counseling or related field; license-eligibility required.
2–5 years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Lead the intake assessment process for calls and walk-ins.
Determine appropriate level of care and facilitate admissions or referrals.
Demonstrate effective communication, coaching, and development of staff.
Perform management duties and address operational issues in a busy 24/7 intake department.
Collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate patient care.
