Job summary

The Village of St. Edward is seeking a Laundry Worker for the Fairlawn Campus. The position runs 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 2:30p to 11p, in a community-focused environment.

Responsibilities include daily laundry operations, handling linens, sorting, staining, pressing, ironing, and inventory control while maintaining equipment. High school or equivalent preferred, with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand long hours.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 35–50 lbs independently; more with assistance.
• Dexterity to sort, colorize, fold linens; operate laundry equipment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach; walk/stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the Laundry Department.
• Collect soiled linens and assist in sorting and stain removal.
• Press and iron linens; manage inventory and linen stock.
• Maintain and service laundry equipment.
