Rose City Nursing and Rehab in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Laundry Assistant for full-time evening shift (2:30 PM–10:30 PM). The role handles washing, folding, transporting and organizing resident linens to maintain a clean, comfortable environment.

Responsibilities include loading machines, folding linens, distributing to rooms, and adhering to safety and infection control procedures. Prior laundry, cleaning, maintenance experience is preferred, with OSHA/state regulation familiarity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA and state regulations applicable to nursing facilities.
• Dependable and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.

Responsibilities

• Place soiled facility or resident personal linen in the washing machine.
• Fold or hang resident personal linen and transport and distribute it to residents' rooms.
• Hang resident clothing in closets and place clothing in drawers.
• Maintain an organized and efficient laundry area.
• Follow facility laundry procedures and applicable safety and infection control practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
