Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support sample intake, preparation, data entry and shipment of samples. The role includes handling sample boxes, labeling, organizing in refrigerators, and shipping via FedEx. Training on days before transitioning to second shift is provided.

Responsibilities also cover data entry in Winweb, QA/QC, and basic lab tasks; strong safety mindset and team collaboration are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus 1 year of specialized training.
• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or physical science preferred.
• Solid understanding of math, chemistry and chemical testing; lab experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and work safely at all times.
• Enter sample data in LIMS (Winweb) based on tests requested.
• Label, organize, and store samples; discard completed samples after retention time.
• Assemble and ship sample kits; ship samples via FedEx.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and log chemicals/equipment.
• Perform analyses following procedures and calibrate instruments.
• Complete QA/QC documentation and manage waste per guidelines.
