Coda Search│Staffing is seeking detail-oriented Laboratory Technicians and Laboratory Assistants to join our team in South Plainfield, NJ. You will play a key part in daily laboratory operations, sample preparation, purification, and automation support within a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s in Biology, Chemistry or related Life Sciences is a plus.
Hands-on experience with basic liquid handling (pipetting) and unit conversions (mL to L).
High attention to detail and ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
Strong time management and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Sort incoming samples and follow safety protocols, SOPs, and trainer directions.
Prepare and purify sequencing templates (including PCR purification) and load samples onto automated sequencing instruments.
Operate or assist with automation platforms and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients via email and phone.
