Job summary

Cordant Health Solutions in Flagstaff, AZ is seeking a Lab Technician to join Laboratory Operations. You will prepare batches of samples, read CoC forms, and order tests while applying barcoded labels to ensure accurate processing. The role requires a High School diploma, prior lab or high-volume production experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in a team. Shift: Mon-Fri 12pm-8:45pm; pay $18.50/hr plus $2 shift differential for off-hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a laboratory or high-volume production environment preferred.
• Ability to interpret and follow written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Open sample bags, create accessions and batches, order tests, apply barcode labels.
• Scan Chain of Custody (CoC) forms and ensure documentation is clear and reproducible.
• Verify aliquot volumes and hand-pour if required.
• Identify and separate samples needing attention.
• Enter client/donor information and note deficiencies after Team Lead sign-off.
• Transport batches, manage storage, and maintain chain of custody.
