Job summary

Pace® is hiring a Lab Technician to join the environmental testing laboratory on a 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM shift, Thursday through Monday. The role emphasizes supporting sample processing, documentation, and lab safety, with training provided to grow a laboratory sciences career at Pace®.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent; STEM coursework or degree is preferred, and prior lab or environmental testing experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a STEM field preferred; chemistry lab experience also preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
