Job summary

Pace Analytical Services, LLC is seeking a Lab Technician I to join our environmental testing laboratory. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and an hourly compensation of $18.00, with training provided to support your growth in laboratory sciences.

You will perform sample-related activities, maintain documentation, and participate in training on lab support policies and practices as part of our commitment to safety and accuracy in environmental data.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a lab or office setting, stand for long periods while conducting tests, work around strong smells, and wear personal protective equipment while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves - all provided by Pace).
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support all laboratory sample-related activities, including preservation, preparation, processing, and maintenance.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
