Sagis Diagnostics, a physician‑led sub‑specialty pathology group with a CAP‑accredited lab in Houston, TX, is seeking an entry level Lab Administrative Clerk. The role focuses on precise data entry, specimen management, and recordkeeping in a busy laboratory environment.

• High school education or equivalent is REQUIRED.
• Must type at least 40 WPM and follow procedures.
• Ability to multi‑task in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Enter specimen data into the laboratory information system.
• Verify proper request forms and complete demographic data.
• Ensure requisitions and labels include patient name, DOB, tissue site, dates, and physician name.
• Label all specimen bottles and cassettes with accession numbers.
• Maintain filing systems for lab reports, correspondence, and logs.
• Handle incoming and outgoing laboratory communications as needed.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures of Sagis.
• Work schedule: Monday–Friday, 3 pm to 11:30 pm, Main Lab Houston -77092.
