Labcorp in Raritan, NJ is seeking a Lab Assistant to join our clinical laboratory team. You will receive and sort specimens, prepare them for testing, and help maintain a safe, organized workflow on a Monday–Friday schedule with evenings and rotating Saturdays.

The role emphasizes data entry, adherence to SOPs, and teamwork in a fast-paced production environment. A high school diploma is required, with preferred experience in specimen processing or a laboratory setting.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 months or more of specimen processing experience preferred.
• 3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Receive and sort clinical lab specimens.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Scan and/or data entry of specimen and patient information.
• Ensure all lab equipment is working properly and perform minor instrumentation maintenance.
• Troubleshoot any specimen related issues.
• Replenish test bench supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Complete record logs and other administrative duties as requested.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safety and quality standards.
