PeaceHealth is seeking a Lab Assistant - Specimen Management for a Full Time, 0.80 FTE, Evening position. The role supports patient care by handling specimens, operating LIS, and communicating test information to patients and staff.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and prior clinical lab experience. This position involves lab duties, data entry, and adherence to safety policies in a hospital setting.

Formación

• High School Diploma preferred or equivalent.
• Prior clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, deliver, and pick up items per lab policies.
• Collect and label specimens for testing; ensure specimen integrity.
• Perform data entry for patient demographics and tests.
• Receive, sort, and process specimens for testing and transport.
• Answer client inquiries about specimen requirements and results.
