Job summary
Highland Hospital invites applications for a Lab Assistant to support the clinical laboratory. The position is full-time with a Monday–Friday evening shift and an every third weekend rotation, based in Rochester, NY.
The Lab Assistant will receive specimens and requisitions, enter data into the LIS and HIS, and help maintain accurate records. Candidates should have a high school diploma and some healthcare exposure.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
- Six months of clinical laboratory or healthcare experience.
- Medical terminology and basic computer skills (keyboarding, Windows, Outlook) preferred.

- Enters information into LIS and HIS.
