Qualifications

• Experience requirements: 1 year phlebotomy or Lab Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection using established safety and identification protocols.
• Process, label, and prepare specimens for testing or send out, following laboratory procedures and transport requirements.
• Maintain organized work areas and monitor inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies for routine and specialty testing.
• Verify specimen information, resolve basic collection or labeling issues, and communicate with nursing or clinical staff to support timely testing.
• Enter and track specimen data in laboratory systems, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
• Participate in rotating laboratory support duties as assigned to maintain efficient workflow across all service areas.
