Job summary

Trinity Health Grand Haven is seeking a Night Shift Phlebotomy Technician to join our laboratory team. You will collect blood samples, accurately identify and process specimens, and assist with patient registration, instruction, and timely reporting of results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy training certification preferred.
• Experience preferred.
• Proficient use of computers.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients.
• Accurately identify, label, and process specimens.
• Receives and instructs patients, nurses, staff physicians, doctor’s offices regarding collection procedures and lab reports.
• Receives and instructs patients, interprets physician’s orders, enters orders into lab computer system and schedules appointments.
