Job summary

Eurest USA in Nashville, TN is hiring immediately for NIGHT COOK positions at Gaylord Opryland. We offer both full-time and part-time schedules with shift times 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm or 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. Pay ranges from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour and previous cook/food service experience is required.

Prepares food to standard recipes, maintains quality and cleanliness, and supports service with proper portions and temperatures. Join a team recognized in the foodservice industry for excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have Cook and/or Food Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
• Serves meals and prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlined standards, and ensuring that food is at the correct temperature and arranged nicely.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from area worked during service periods.
• Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food-handling procedures.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat and ensures food and supply items are stored per standards.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
• Assists in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
• Reports needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
