A Quality Facility Services in Florence, KY is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to oversee evening cleaning operations at our Florence facility. This hands-on leadership role requires overseeing a cleaning team, maintaining high standards, and ensuring the facility is clean, safe, organized, and ready for the next business day.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, able to lead a team, and willing to jump in to perform cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or facilities management is preferred.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage a team.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
• Stable work history preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily janitorial operations during the 2nd shift.
• Lead, train, and coach cleaning staff.
• Conduct daily team huddles and communicate updates.
• Inspect completed work and perform final walk-throughs.
• Correct quality issues and ensure standards are met.
• Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control waste.
• Track labor hours and stay within budget.
• Communicate schedule changes and client expectations.
• Hold employees accountable for attendance, performance, and productivity.
• Perform hands-on janitorial work when needed.
• Develop leadership potential among team members.
• Work with Area Manager to meet client expectations.
• Improve cleaning processes and team efficiency.
