Job summary

Sunrise Enterprises Inc. is seeking an Employment & Direct Support Professional to train and supervise individuals with disabilities in a janitorial setting at our DHS location in Roseburg, OR.

The role includes high-quality cleaning, disinfecting, and customer service across assigned buildings during evening shifts. The position emphasizes safety, documentation via specialized software, and collaboration with Employment Services to support participants’ growth and job readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• At least two (2) years of janitorial or supervisory experience or acceptable combination of experience, preferred.
• One (1) year of working with individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Clean Guru, Paycor, and SetWorks.
• General knowledge of janitorial cleaning products and equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and follow verbal and/or written instructions, reasonable accommodations will be made for a person with a disability under ADA.
• Able to work independently, displaying initiative and creativity in the workplace.
• Must have a high attention to detail.
• ODL is required and must have an insurable driving record by Sunrise insurance carrier.
• Pass drug screen including marijuana/THC, background check, which will include fingerprints, and an additional CJIS Background Check.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.

Responsibilities

• Review emails, work schedule, crew assignments at shift start.
• Perform vehicle checks before/after janitorial duties.
• Inform supervisor when materials need purchase.
• Perform detailed janitorial services for each client.
• Use tools and chemicals safely per SDS protocols.
• Resupply client items as instructed.
• Maintain safe work environment and security of facilities.
• Document work using janitorial software and submit on time.
• Attend required meetings, trainings, and committees.
