Job summary

Summit Building Services in Independence, OH is seeking a part-time janitorial associate to maintain a clean and well-kept industrial facility. You will clean offices, locker rooms, break rooms, and dining areas, with shifts on Mondays and Thursdays after 5:00 PM, totaling 9 hours weekly for $15 per hour.

Responsibilities include floor and restroom cleaning, restocking supplies, equipment maintenance, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to get to work.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Clean offices and common areas: disinfect desks and tabletops, dust, vacuum, sweep, mop.
• Clean floors and restrooms: mop floors, sanitize fixtures, restock supplies, and empty trash.
• Maintain equipment and order supplies.
• Keep janitor’s closet organized; separate clean/dirty laundry.
• Use the communication book to request consumables and share facility information.
• Communicate with Area Manager about timekeeping, supplies, and client requests.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
