PharMerica, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is hiring a full-time IV Technician for Greensburg, PA on a 2nd shift. The role focuses on sterile compounding for long-term care and senior living clients in a non-retail environment.

You'll clean and maintain the sterile room, prepare prescriptions, support QA, and assist pharmacists while developing your career in a growing company. A sign-on bonus is offered and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• 6 months - 1 year IV Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsabilités

• Maintain the sterile compounding room per USP 797 and state rules.
• Prepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care residents and Alere high-risk pregnancy patients.
• Support QA processes and document requirements.
• Assist pharmacists with data entry, refill coordination, and communication with nursing homes and Alere clients.
• Stage, prepare, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain infusion pumps and sterile equipment, ensuring calibration and safety.
• Replenish Emergency Drug Kits for long-term care facilities.
• Perform shipping and tracking of Alere packages.
• Support inventory management, filing, answering phones, and stocking areas.
• Collaborate with Lead IV Technician and Pharmacy Supervisor for safety and compliance.
• Report operational or compliance concerns related to USP 797.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
