Job summary

Merchants Bank in Winona, MN, is seeking a part-time Item Processor (approximately 15–20 hours per week). Starting times are 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with end times between 6:30 and 7:30 PM depending on rotation.

Duties include balancing daily transactions, processing electronic files, handling cash letters, and preparing scanned images of paper documents. The role requires a high degree of accuracy, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Balance daily bank transactions and reports.
• Process electronic file processing and cash letters.
• Prep, scan and store paper item documents.
• Perform end-of-night duties for Item Processing.
• Provide outstanding service to internal and external customers.
