Community and Family Resources in Des Moines, IA seeks a Counselor to provide substance use services at the Intensive Outpatient level of care. Responsibilities

• Intake/Assessments: Assists clients in completion of assessment forms/documents; conducts individual assessment sessions; develops recommendations; prepares and distributes assessment results.
• Treatment Services: Provides client orientation; coordinates and evaluates treatment program; conducts individual, family, and group sessions; coordinates treatment plans; facilitates groups; provides follow-up services.
• Support Services: Assists in intervention processes; maintains records; provides referrals; trains agency staff.
• Community Education and Prevention: Participates in community awareness programs and education on problem gambling and substance use.
