Job summary

Paylocity in Utah is seeking an Inventory Specialist to join our warehouse team. You will work with the Receiving Manager to ensure orders are handled from on-hand inventory with a fast-paced, solution-driven approach.

This role focuses on accurate receiving, tagging, counting, and timely shipping, along with safety and process compliance. Strong communication and basic computer skills are required; ability to lift 40 pounds and stand 6–8 hours daily is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong computer and iPad literacy.
• Optimum attention to detail with accuracy.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Standing 6-8 hours daily.
• Logistics or supply chain experience preferred.
• Receiving or inventory control experience preferred.
• UPS, FedEx, or USPS experience preferred.
• Shipping platforms experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, PO match, tag and distribute products delivered daily.
• Scanning and invoicing orders.
• Keeping accurate inventory counts.
• Ensure all orders ship out on time, accurately, and with optimum quality.
• Understand principles of shipping, receiving, stock pulling, order fulfillment, and quality control.
• Follow standard processes set for each task.
• Manage time efficiently while maintaining a high attention to detail.
• Meet goals for each process related to receiving.
• Works with management professionally to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Ensures that all waste is reported accurately and disposed of properly.
• Communicates with management, various departments, and team members to satisfy customer needs.
