Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Master’s level Intake Clinician for Fairfax Behavioral Health’s Assessment team in Kirkland, WA. The role supports 24/7 intake from hospitals, DCRs, and providers across Kirkland, Everett, and Monroe.

The ideal candidate has strong clinical assessment, rapport-building, and communication skills, with at least 1 year of mental health experience and an active WA license or eligibility. Weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in social work or mental health field or WA RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in social work or a mental health setting.
• Active WA State License LICSW, LMHC, LMFT or RN; CPR/1st Aid/Handle with Care/Verbal De-escalation trainings upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Handle referrals from hospitals, DCRs and providers for Kirkland, Everett and Monroe campuses.
• Provide 24/7 intake coverage and assist callers with inquiries about mental health and substance use services.
• Build rapport quickly with callers and work within a multi-disciplinary hospital team.
