Job summary

MSD of Lawrence Township's Craig Academy seeks an Instructional Assistant to support GED/ELL students in the evening. The position is part-time, 5:30–9:00 PM, non-exempt and paid $17.00 per hour, with duties across clerical support and classroom assistance.

The Instructional Assistant reports to the Adult Education Teacher and Program Director, assisting with tests, attendance, data management, and general program operations to ensure smooth, effective classes.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and staff with clerical tasks such as copying, organizing material, and maintaining records.
• Assist in preparing for and administering student pre and post tests.
• Help maintain student data management systems, including recording daily attendance.
• Work in INTERs data management system, including recording daily attendance.
• Provide in-class support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Perform other support tasks that contribute to the effective operation of the program.
