Mercy Medical Center seeks an experienced Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II to support medication inventory, preparation, and delivery under pharmacist supervision. The role requires Iowa certification as a Pharmacy Technician and prior pharmacy experience.

Evening shifts with 40 hours per week are available, including on-call and weekend rotation. Candidates must meet licensure, age, and driving requirements and demonstrate strong accuracy in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Active Iowa Board of Pharmacy registration as a Certified Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting preferred.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsabilités

• Fill, label, and deliver medications throughout the hospital.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and expiration dates.
• Comply with policies on controlled substances handling.
• Triage phone calls and take detailed messages.
• Prepare emergency kits and carts with medications.
• Ensure aseptic technique in sterile and non-sterile areas.
