Job summary

Mercer County Community College’s Reference and Information Literacy Librarian helps lead information literacy instruction across the curriculum and provides reference and research assistance to students and faculty. You will work closely with faculty to support course content and research needs, positioning the library as a strategic asset in teaching and learning goals.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited program or within 6 hours of completing such a program.
• Experience providing instruction in information literacy and reference services is preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty to integrate library resources into coursework.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, promotion and provision of Information Literacy instruction throughout the curriculum.
• Provide reference and research assistance to students and faculty.
