Job summary

Pilgrim's is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of feed mill equipment and facilities. The role involves working Monday–Friday 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, with weekend and on-call duties as needed.

You will diagnose issues, repair equipment, and support production teams to maintain safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include maintaining and testing equipment, interpreting drawings, and coordinating with production management to identify

Qualifications

Reading, general math and writing skills required.
Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the United States.
1-2 years industrial maintenance experience.
Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.
General welding/fabrication knowledge.
General knowledge of low and high voltage electrical.
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends.
Willing and able to stand for extended periods.
Able to work in varied indoor/outdoor conditions with PPE.
Able to work in elevated areas.
Able to perform physical duties including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Construct, maintain and test mechanical equipment, machinery and components
Identify parts or machines needing new or replacement parts
Utilize shop mathematics to complete assignments
Interpret drawings of equipment to properly adjust, maintain or repair machinery
Respond to production area when mechanical issues are identified
Communicate with production management to diagnose problems
Perform preventive maintenance
Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts
Other duties as assigned
