Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist II for the Evening ICU to provide advanced pharmaceutical care to critically ill patients.

You will collaborate with intensivists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy and support safe, evidence-based practice in the ICU during evening hours. The role includes leading rounds, pharmacotherapy consults, and contributing to quality improvement and policy development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency completed.
• Florida Pharmacist license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications and IV therapies for ICU patients.
• Provide pharmacotherapy, pharmacokinetic, renal dosing, and critical care consultations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary ICU rounds and patient care discussions.
• Monitor medication therapy outcomes and address clinical interventions.
• Evaluate and resolve medication-related alerts and safety concerns.
• Investigate and document adverse drug reactions and medication errors.
• Support medication stewardship and quality improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor pharmacists, residents, students, and pharmacy technicians.
• Assist with policy development, educational programs, research activities, and operational projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and Orlando Health standards.
