Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team for evening shifts and to optimize patient outcomes through safe medication management. This role emphasizes collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy with active Florida pharmacist license.
• Hospital/pharmacy experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense medications and IV therapies per policy.
• Develop and monitor individualized pharmaceutical care plans.
• Provide pharmacotherapy and pharmacokinetic consultations.
• Address clinical alerts in EHR and adjust dosing as needed.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives and error prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Document interventions per regulatory standards.
• Provide drug information and education to staff, patients, families.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds as applicable.
• Maintain compliance with all policies and regulatory requirements.
