Job summary

The City of Brooklyn Park’s Recreation and Parks Department is seeking an Ice Skating Instructor to teach skating skills in our community programs. This seasonal/temporary role works under the CAC Facilities Coordinator, with evening shifts and some weekend hours.

An ideal candidate is at least 16 years old, understands skating principles, and can interact with participants professionally while maintaining safety and order.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Knowledge of skating principles.
• Ability to interact with participants professionally.
• Ability to maintain order and ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist CAC Coordinator to run an effective program.
• Start session on time and apply skating principles.
• Maintain order and ensure participants follow the plan.
• Report incidents and assist with required reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
