Job summary

The American Red Cross in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Donor Care Specialist for the Charlotte office. The role is a hybrid position with after training, reporting to the office twice a month.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 11:30pm. Pay is $22.60/hr plus differential. Responsibilities include donor case management, data integrity, and support for donor services within regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent with medical certification such as RN/LPN or MT/MLT required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in patient care, blood collections or patient testing.
• Bilingual is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage routine to moderately complex donor complication cases and provide care.
• Provide timely, accurate answers to donors and staff regarding eligibility and concerns.
• Perform medical director/designee review and quality review for donor cases.
