Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner at our Reno, NV fulfillment center. The HR Business Partner leads the Fulfillment Center HR department, focusing on employee engagement, performance management and talent development to support a fast-paced distribution environment.

You’ll collaborate with line managers, handle employee relations and onboarding, analyze data to improve retention, and participate in safety and policy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field.
• 5+ years in an HR partnership role in a warehouse or fast-paced environment.
• 2+ years leading an HR team.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence at all levels and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead team responsible for performance management, employee engagement and talent development.
• Work with line managers to address employee relations issues and balance interests.
• Provide mentorship to build leadership capabilities and resolve employee issues.
• Own onboarding, training and orientation processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends and propose improvements for retention and experience.
• Coordinate compensation programs and review market data for roles.
• Oversee benefits administration and policy updates.
• Support safety meetings and incident investigations.
