The Shores, a United Methodist Communities retirement community in Ocean City, NJ, seeks a Housekeeper on a set Wed–Sat 1 PM–9 PM schedule. You will clean resident apartments and common areas, keeping homes safe, healthy, and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Able to read safety labels and follow written and spoken English instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care and routine cleaning in resident apartments and common areas.
• Empty and clean waste and soiled linen receptacles.
• Clean, restock, and maintain restroom supplies.
• Move and arrange furniture and assist with room setups for programs and activities.
• Assist in unloading delivery trucks as needed.
• Follow sanitation methods and safely use cleaning products to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Operate housekeeping equipment and perform advanced floor care such as stripping and finishing floors.
