Telecare Corporation seeks a Housekeeper/Laundry Worker for Gladman MHRC to provide comprehensive cleaning and laundry services. The role supports sub-acute psychiatric care and daily operations of the facility.

The position requires at least one year in a hotel, motel, or health care setting, along with a high school diploma or GED. A reader/writer of English and DOJ clearance are mandatory for employment.

Qualifikationen

• One year of related experience in motel, hotel or health care setting.
• High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent is also required.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; willingness to work with mentally impaired adults.
• Finger-printing and DOJ clearance required.

Aufgaben

• Perform housekeeping tasks: sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, wax, wash mops and linen daily.
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas and offices.
• Dust furniture, vents and hardware; clean windows and walls as needed.
• Distribute and manage laundry for nursing staff; collect soiled laundry.
• Follow infection control principles and safety policies.
