Job summary

The OasisHotel & Convention Center in Springfield, MO is seeking a detail-oriented 2nd Shift Housekeeper to uphold high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public areas and to provide attentive service to guests.

Responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms and public spaces, reporting maintenance concerns, stocking supplies, and assisting guests. Shift is 3:30pm–12am with weekend work; honesty and a positive attitude are essential, prior cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans public areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, hallways, breakrooms and other front and back of house areas.
• Cleaning of guest rooms to include dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens and cleaning bathrooms.
• Performs tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, washing windows, assist in laundry, cleaning/ buffing floors and disposing of interior/exterior garbage.
• Reports any maintenance concerns and items in need of repair.
• Stocks and maintains cart and supply rooms, as needed.
• Performs deep cleaning tasks and special projects.
• Deliver guest requested items.
• Directs guest to guest rooms and meeting rooms, as needed.
• Handles guest inquiries. This position is required to work with our guests to ensure overall satisfaction. This position must take the initiative to be creative when resolving gust inquires/ challenges.
