Job Description Summary: Sonesta ES Suites Cincinnati - Blue Ash is looking for a House Attendant (HA). The HA works with the Housekeeping Management Team to assist Room Attendants on assigned floors or buildings by collecting dirty linens and transporting to the laundry area, delivering clean linens to Room Attendant carts, and retrieving trash throughout the hotel. Assist with the commercial laundry function and/or the cleaning of public area spaces, exterior entrances to the hotel, and parking lot. Will be assigned special projects as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to the Sonesta G.U.E.S.T. standards.
2. Work with Room Attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens. Deliver linens and other supplies to Room Attendants.
3. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors, including removing trash, wiping down shelves/counters, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
4. Respond to guests’ requests promptly and efficiently.
5. Clean designated areas such as public restrooms, storage rooms, and other public spaces.
6. Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
7. Respond to special requests and guest complaints, and deliver housekeeping/room supplies to ensure guest satisfaction.
8. Minimize waste of supplies and amenities within all areas of housekeeping.
9. Deliver lost and found items according to procedures.
10. Assist with deep cleaning projects when assigned.
11. When assigned to laundry, monitor supplies and equipment, operate washers and dryers, inspect linens, fold and store clean linens, and report damages.
12. Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other shifts and management.
13. Ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Some housekeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in extended stay industry preferred.
• Fluent English skills preferred; other languages beneficial.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and move about the facility.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
• Use of commercial cleaning chemicals required.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
