Job summary

Hilton Daytona Beach is seeking a skilled Second Shift Engineer to maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the hotel. The role covers the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, basic electrical and plumbing work, painting and drywall repairs, and timely response to emergencies while maintaining compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical experience in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and repairs.
• Basic plumbing skills and experience.
• Experience with painting and drywall repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time on the second shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment and systems.
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Handle basic plumbing tasks including repairs and maintenance.
