Job summary

ProMedica Security Officers ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees at Toledo Hospital. While patrolling the facility, officers assist people with directions and information on where to go.

The role also involves traffic control and parking enforcement as needed and requires reporting all incidents with thorough documentation. Successful candidates will complete required training and remain current in certifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license in the state of employment with a clean driving record.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six (6) months of employment.
• Associate degree in security or related field preferred.
• Prior security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and staff at the facility.
• Monitor facilities and assist with directions and safety guidance.
• Regulate and control traffic, including parking enforcement when needed.
• Investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents and maintain documentation.
