Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Protection Officer at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD. The role covers an evening shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am) with 4 ten-hour shifts, focusing on patrols, incident reporting and safety operations within a hospital environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license and at least one year of security experience; BLS certification is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered from day one.

Qualifications

• Protection Officers must have at least a high school diploma, GED or equivalent experience as a security officer (4 years).
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification from American Heart Association preferred.
• One or more years of Security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital and assigned post.
• Perform daily patrols and monitoring without bias or discrimination.
• Write reports in a neat and legible manner.
• Be available to work all three shifts when needed.
