Job summary

Trinity Health's Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, is seeking a dedicated Protection Officer for the evening shift (3:00 pm–1:30 am). You will patrol assigned posts, monitor for suspicious activity, and document incidents to help maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification preferred.
• One or more years of Security experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hospital's security and safety at the assigned post during the watch.
• Write reports in a neat and legible manner documenting incidents and observations.
• Be available to work all three shifts when needed.
• Perform daily patrols and security functions without bias or discrimination.
