Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Phlebotomist to join our team in Vancouver, WA. The role involves performing blood collections and specimen processing in a patient-focused setting at our Vancouver location.

You will collect specimens for drug screens and other tests, enter data accurately, and assist with billing and administrative tasks while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and providers.

Qualifications

• Washington State Phlebotomy license (MA-P) required.
• Color blindness test must be passable.
• Overtime flexibility required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
