Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Phlebotomist to join our team at USA Health Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering precise patient data entry with a strong focus on customer service.

The schedule is Monday–Friday 1:30pm–10:00pm with rotating weekends, and travel to additional sites when needed. A phlebotomy certification or training is required, with higher preference for 1+ year experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
