Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is seeking a Building Services Aide (housekeeping) to support patient care by maintaining a clean, sanitary hospital environment.

The role involves general cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring spaces are orderly and safe for patients, staff, and visitors. The position requires adherence to infection control practices, attention to detail, and the ability to work evenings (3:00 pm – 11:30 pm) with every other weekend commitment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency (preferred).
• 1 year experience (minimum).
• 2-4 years experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks in assigned hospital area to maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment.
• Promote sanitary conditions to help prevent infection and odors.
• May perform tasks involving exposure to visible blood contamination or reasonably anticipated blood contamination.
• Perform cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating condition. Respect Hospital and Company property.
• Similar duties may extend to the Medical Office Building, other buildings and adjacent grounds.
