Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking an Environmental Services Aide for a mid-shift role in our hospital. You will clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas and equipment, following department procedures and safety guidelines.

The position requires the ability to walk and stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and attend staff meetings. A high school diploma is preferred; 3–6 months hospital housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months of experience in hospital or institutional housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize patient rooms and other areas.
• Use cleaning supplies per departmental procedures.
• Scrub, mop, and buff floors.
• Dust and polish furniture.
• Clean windows, bathrooms, fixtures.
• Remove trash to designated stations.
• Follow schedules, sanitation and safety requirements.
• Attend 85% of Environmental Services staff meetings.
• Maintain assigned areas neat and sanitary.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
