Job summary

St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA is hiring a Building Services Aide (housekeeping) for the Evening shift, full-time.

You will perform cleaning duties in the hospital’s Environmental Services Department to maintain sanitary, safe spaces for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include general cleaning, floor care, equipment maintenance, and extending support to the Medical Office Building and surrounding areas as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalency preferred.
• 1 year experience minimum in housekeeping or related.
• 2–4 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Building Services Aide performs housekeeping duties for the hospital’s Environmental Services Department.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, orderly surroundings for patients, colleagues and the public.
• Promote sanitary conditions to prevent infection and odors; handle potential exposure to blood.
• Perform cleaning, floor care and project assignments within area of responsibility.
• Maintain equipment, tools and storage areas in good condition; respect hospital property.
• Extend duties to Medical Office Building and adjacent grounds as needed.
